We are delighted to announce Artificial Minds as a Challenge Sponsor for Hack24 2016!

Founded in 2011, Artificial Minds has the intention of creating a platform for the Internet of Things. They feel that what currently limits the IoT experience (specifically the smart home) is the lack of unified control over all devices, so over 4 years of research they have created a platform called Cortex.

Cortex is an open source platform for the Internet of Things, which starts in the home. Cortex, with the help of its little brother Nuron the API, will bring a new vision to the smart home and give homeowners and manufactures a simple solution that is fully compatible with any device.

Artificial Minds will be putting forward a challenge for attendees and will give all attendees the first preview of Cortex and the opportunity to join and collaborate. Some of their team will be at the event with some cool freebies too!

We think the team at Tech Nottingham have created a remarkable event with Hack24 - that’s why we have decided to sponsor a challenge.

We look forward to being part of such a marvellous tech scene and seeing the many great solutions that will come from the challenges.
